San Francisco’s Chinatown is one of the oldest neighborhoods of its kind and the largest outside of Asia. While walking along the neighborhood's busy streets filled with shops and restaurants, you’ll get a taste of part of San Francisco’s historic beginnings. Be sure to visit during the Chinese New Year in February for a vibrant and colorful celebration. Chinatown is only five blocks away from Axiom Hotel.
Explore San Francisco’s most famous waterfront community, Fisherman’s Wharf, which is only 1.8 miles away from our hotel. Go on a sightseeing tour, learn about the Wharf’s history on a port walk, purchase a keepsake at one of the famous Wharf shops, and experience some of the best dining in the world, all in one spot.
By far one of the most internationally recognized symbols in San Francisco, California and the United States, the Golden Gate Bridge lies just 2.9 miles from our hotel. In just 15 minutes, you could be staring at the beautiful, bright orange, 3-mile long suspension bridge that spans the San Francisco Bay and Pacific Ocean. The Golden Gate Bridge was declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers, and is possibly one of the most photographed bridges in the world. Whether the weather is foggy or sunny, the Golden Gate is truly a remarkable sight.
